Priscilla Beaumont was born in Fangfoss in the Yorkshire Wolds north of Pocklington in 1687. Her father was Jacobi aka James Beaumont; mother unknown.

Marriage 1711 Thornton by Pocklington
A James Oliver marries Priscilla Beaumont in Thornton by Pocklington in 1711. This is 15 miles (25 km) east of St Laurence Church York where eight children are baptised by a James Oliver 1713-24. The claim that this is the same man makes sense, and was first made long ago. [2]
