Biography

Adam was born in 1871. In 1916, he was living at 170 Platt Lane, Rusholme, Manchester, England. At age 22, he married Catherine Lingard at the Bamford Chapel (Independent) near Bury, Lancashire in the presence of a George Halshead and an Ellen Lingard. The marriage certificate indicates that the couple were living at the same address, 10 Russell Street, Heywood, Adam working as a bookkeeper and Catherine working as a cotton weaver. At age 55, his daughter Helene indicated her father was working as a secretary when she married. At age 68, Adam Beaumont passed away at the Royal Infirmary from renal failure. He may have been buried at the Holy Trinity Platt Church in Manchester.
