Biography

Johann Georg Bieber was born to Dietrich and Maria Elizabeth (Kieffer) Bieber on 29 April 1755, Rockland Township, Berks, Pennsylvania, United States.

John Beaver, a private in Caleb North's company, commanded by Col. Anthony Wayne. He was in the engagement at the Three Rivers, Canada, June 8, 1776, when Gen. Thompson was captured. Later he was captain of a company of Berks county Associators. /ref/ p.12 Daughters of the American Revolution.

John passed away January 1836 in Upper Strasburg, Letterkenny Township, Franklin, Pennsylvania, United States.

Bieber-479 and Beaver-1589 appear to represent the same person because: almost the same birth date, same spouse listed, differ only in that the Chester County Bieber descendants changed the spelling of their last name to Beaver sometime around this period
