Research Notes

  • His death record shows his mother as Sarah Naugle. In addition, the Runkle/Beck family lived in York County in 1850 and 1860, but he was baptized in Adams County (Abbotstown is close to Paradise). The birth record simple shows his mother as Sarah Beck. He may belong to another family; however, he does appear on the 1860 census with this family. Note that there is a little uncertainty.
