Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Beck, 201 Locust street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorcas Ellen to William E. Griffith, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Griffith, 217 Seventh street east. The ceremony was performed in the chapel of First Presbyterian church at 8 a.m. Sunday by Rev. H. E. Dierenfield. Mr. and Mrs. Erven Kohl, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, were attendants. The bride wore an aqua marine knit suit with brown accessories and a corsage of mixed flowers. Mrs. Kohl wore a blue knit suit with black accessories and corsage similar to that of the bride's.

Both are graduates of Waterloo West High School and are employed in Waterloo.

California-Bound Residents Honored at Farewell Party.

Mrs. W. R. Beck, Mrs. Dorcas Griffith and Miss Bonnie Lou Griffith, 1305 West Second street, were feted at a farewell dinner in Black's tearoom on Saturday evening prior to their departure to make their home in California.

Eighteen relatives and friends attended.

Hostesses were Mmes. Carl Christensen, S. D. Smith, E. C. Jung and Dale Kirschman.
