He married Anna Katharina Stumpf 15 April 1783 in Kirtorf.
They had at least one child, Elisabetha Katharina Becker, born in 1795.
He died 30 March 1831 at the age of 66, and was buried 1 April 1831. Heinrich Schäfer and Georg Lather were witnesses to his burial.
