Johann Phillip was born July 27, 1740, son of Johann Heinrich Becker and Anna Maria Eva Stillgebauer. The record of his Baptism follows:
27th July 1740 to Johann Heinrich Becker and Maria Eva his wife, was born a son and on 31st was Baptised. Sponsors were Johann Phillip Simon and Sebastian Herlemann, Master Shoemaker and Anna Christina Dorrin, gave the Christian name Johann Phillip. (Source# 1)
