1846 On 19 Aug 1846 Peter and his family arrived in New York, New York, USA having traveled from Germany on the Louis Philippe through the port of LeHavre to immigrate to the USA. With Peter were his wife, Catherine, and their children: Barbara (age 21) , Peter (age 19) , Philip (age 15), Valentin (age 9), Jacob (age 7), Caroline (age 3?), and Friedrick (age 2).[3]

1850 Johann Peter Becker and his family were living in Germantown, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA.[4]

1860 At the 1860 US Census Peter still resided in Germantown, Washington County, Wisconsin, USA. He was farming and lived very near to his son Jacob and his wife, who were also farming. The household comprised:

  • Peter Becker M 60 Prussia
  • Catharine Becker F 58 Prussia
  • Fridrick Becker M 16 Prussia
  • Caroline Becker F 3 Wisconsin[5]

1870 Continued to reside in Germantown, Wisconsin. [6][7]
