Feb 12, 1942 - Kossuth County Advance - St. Joe, Feb. 11 — Mrs. Frank Hilbert, 64, died Tuesday morning at her home following a long illness, the last 5 weeks have been spent in bed.
Mrs Hilbert was Catherine Margaret, daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Anthony Becker and she was born Dec 26, 1877, at Milton, Illinois. When she was three years old the family
moved to Iowa and settled on the present Julius Capesius farm. On November 20, 1900, she was married to Frank Hilbert at St. Joe.
The Hilberts lived two years at Whittemore, eight years at Irvington, and 28 years on a farm near Livermore. For the last one and half years they had lived in a new home at St. Joe.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Hilbert is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Nick (Mary) Klein, Mrs. Ray (Anna) Gales, and Florence and Bernadine at home. A son died in infancy, There are two brothers and two sisters: George Becker, St. Joe; Thomas Becker, Sublimity, OR; Mrs Jacob Zeller, Watertown, SD; and Mrs George Illg, St Joe.
