The daughter of John and Adeline Becker, Marcia was born May 11, 1936 in Backoo, North Dakota. Marcia married John M. Williamson July 18, 1958 and resided on their family farm in Glasston for 52 years.
Marcia was active in the community for 40 years as a ceramic art teacher, winning numerous prizes for her works.
Marcia was passionate about 4-H and was involved in the 4-H program for 38 years as a leader, judge and mentor. In 1997, Marcia was inducted into the NDSU 4-H Hall of Fame for service provided.
