Biography

Beatrice was born in 1882. She is the daughter of Henry Beckett and Eliza Evans. ^[1]

In 1901 the family were living at Cedar Villas, in Thelwall Lane, Latchford. Their father was a Wire Drawer aged 53 and their mother was 57. Beatrice (18) was one of 5 children still living at home. ^[2]

In 1911 she was 27 and still living with parents and siblings Mary Elizabeth (33), Leonard (29), and Arthur (23) at 238 Cedar Villas, Thelwall Lane, Latchford, Warrington. Occupation: County Council School Mistress. ^[3]

In 1939 she was 54, of no occupation and living at 240 Thelwall Lane with sister Mary Elizabeth Beckett a retired school mistress aged 64 ^[4]

Beatrice Beckett of 240 Thelwall Lane Warrington, spinster died 9th Feb 1960 at the Hospital, Winwick near Warrington. Administration Liverpool 26 July to Mary Huntington single woman. Effects £858 6s. She was buried 13 Feb 1960 in All Saints Churchyard, Thelwall, Cheshire. ^[5][6]
