Biography

Frank Beckman was born on July 25,1906 in Cattaraugus County, New York to Ernest and Amelia Beckman, who were both born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1896 and 1882, respectively. In 1910, Frank was living in Leon, Cattaraugus, New York with his five older siblings - Mary, Agnes, Elsie, William and Walter. His mother had given birth to 8 children, 6 of whom were still living in 1910. His father, Ernest, was a dairy farmer. ^[1]

In 1920 - 1930, Frank was living in Leon, Cattaraugus, New York with his parents and siblings. His younger siblings were Hans, Margaret, Erwin, Herman and Louise. ^{[2] [3]}

On November 16, 1933, Frank married Hester Bridenbaker, daughter of Mertie Wright and Ray Bridenbaker, in Conewango, Cattaraugus, New York. ^[4]

By 1940, Frank and Hester had two sons, Ronald and Archie, and were residents of Mosher Hollow Road, Leon, Cattaraugus, New York. Frank was a farm laborer.^[5]

Frank died in October 1977 in Cattaraugus, Cattaraugus, New York. ^[6]
