Biography

Inda is the daughter of George Larmour of Matilda township, Stormont/Dundas County, Ontario, Canada and his wife Edith Van Allen, based on her marriage record, also in Dundas County, Ontario. Her birth date of 3 September 1900 is found on her birth record in Matilda township, Stormont County, Ontario, Canada. ^[1]

Marriage records show that Grant Peter Beckstead married Inda Birdsell Larmour on 15 September 1920 at Morrisburg, Dundas county, Ontario, Canada. ^{[2] [3]}

Inda was buried in 1987 with her husband Grant Becksted in Dundas and Glengarry United Counties, Ontario, Canada. Note that all family head stones are spelled "Becksted", without the 'a'. ^[4]

Research Notes

Daughter Jean E. Becksted (1926-1936) is also buried at the Fairview (Hanes) Cemetery in Dundas and Glengarry counties, Ontario, Canada. (See billliongraves.com)

1921 Census is indexed as "Judge Beckstead". However review of image indicates this is more probably "Inda Beckstead". Inda (21) is cited as married, as is son Grant (31), likely she is the wife of Grant. Her relationship is given as "step daughter", but should more probably have been daughter-in-law. ^[5]
