Biography
He was born in Grimma on August 29, 1549, and died sometime after 1618 and before September 11, 1621.
He was a tax collector in Schlieben (Brandenburg) and Seyda (Saxony-Anhalt), fourth appointed historian to the Saxon Prince-Elector, and the author of numerous works (see Universal German Biography, vol. 25, p. 312)
