Biography
Susan Bacckus was born in Cranfield, Bedfordshire in 1833. She was the daughter of Stephen Bacckus. She married William Russell in Salford in 1860. They emigrated to Canada around 1874 and settled in Mitchell, Ontario.
Susan Russell passed away in Mitchell in 1935.
Notes
Susan's grave marker indicates her maiden name was Ping. This also occurs on the marriage records of Maria and Robert Pullman and Caroline and Joseph Goforth. Possibly her middle name?
