Biography

Olive (Beckwith) Rafford is one of twins.


When Olive Beckwith and her twin brother Charles Grandison were born in 1808 in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, their father, Thomas, was 36 and their mother, Olive, was 31.

Olive married John Osbert Rafford on January 31, 1820, in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada. She died in 1859 in Aroostook, Maine, at the age of 51, and was buried in the Riverside Cemetery Fort Fairfield, Maine.
