Biography
"Bertha inherited the Thomas Beckwith homestead in 1927 from Martha Beckwith Gould (her great aunt), which she sold in 1928. She and her husband had a farm on the opposite side of the road."
"In 1947 they were school teachers, first in New York City, later in East Pembroke."
