Biography
Hannah was born in 1830. She was the daughter of Royce Beckwith and Sarah Adams.
She married John Bray in St. Louis, Missouri in 1848. [1]
The 1850 census lists John and Hannah and four children aged 2-9. [2] Hannah is in her husband's household in 1860, along with seven children (Martha 15, John 12, Missouri 10, Louisa 8, Adorine 6, William L 4, and Effa 2) [3] The household contains the same parents along with four children in 1880 (William L 26, Varena D 15, Royce B 13, and Joseph W 9). [4]
John died in 1887, so Hannah is found with her daughter "Vrena" and son -in-law Frank Shepperd in 1900.[5]
Hannah passed away in 1907. [6]
