John Bedwell was born in 1800 in Virginia[1] to James and Jane Bedwell.
On December 2, 1821, John married Patsy Poole in Grayson County, Virginia.[2]
According to the 1850 census, John lived with Patsy and their children, Talitha, Wiley, Eliza, Leon, Alfred, William, Charlotte, Nancy, Feliz, and Martha in Grayson County, Virginia.[1]
John allegedly died on March 24, 1863. He is allegedly buried in the Bedwell-Wiley Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.[3]
