Biography

Cross of St George
Thomas Beech was born in England.
Thomas was born about 1816 in Horton, Staffordshire, the son of Thomas & Hannah Beech.
Thomas Beech died young.
Thomas may have died aged 1, in the workhouse at Biddulph. However there was also a Thomas Beech christened in Nov 1816 in Biddulph, the son of Josiah & Hannah, so it's possible he was the child who died in the workhouse. Thomas & Hannah were living at Greenway Moor both before and after 1816, from burial records for their children, which makes me wonder whether the workhouse death is actually the other Thomas. But on the other hand, since another son of Thomas & Hannah was given the name Thomas in 1820, the Thomas who is the subject of this profile almost certainly died before then, and the workhouse burial is the only Thomas Beech burial during this period at St Lawrence Biddulph, so the likeliest explanation seem to me to be that the family, or part of it, did have a brief stay in the workhouse.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:
