Biography
David Henry Beecher was born April 25, 1738.[1]. He was a 3rdgeneration blacksmith & fought in the Revolutionary War. A Captain in Lt. Col. Sabin's Co. during the war and was Captain of Militia in 1779 when the British attacked New Haven in July.[2][3] He was married 5 times & had 5 children.[4]
