Biography

Lucas was born in 1870. At the time of his father's death (1911), Lucas was a newspaper correspondent for the Toledo Blade.[1] He married Edith Alton Ballard (1871-1951) on 11 Aug 1896 in Erie Co., Ohio[2] and they had two daughters:[3][4]

Lucile Beecher (1902–1986)

Lucas and Edith were still in Toledo in 1930[5] and 1940,[6] but both of them died in the early 1950s in Pampa, Grey, Texas, Edith in 1951 and Lucas in 1954.[7]
