the other heirs to the homestead at Harlingen and lived there untilhis
death. Th e brick farm-house erected by Cornelius Ten Broeck atHarligen,
prior to the Revolution, (was still standing at the time of thisarticles
writing, 1885) and retain(ed) its internal characteristics, although
some changes were made on the outside in 1852-3 by Rev. Jacob T.B.
Beekman, who added a piazza, cup ola, and some other improvements,after
his father's death."
