Biography

Jannetje Beekman was born about 1681 in New Amsterdam. She was the daughter of Johannes Beckman and Matchtel Schermerhorn.[1]

Jannetje married Isaac Lansing on June 27 1703 at her father's home in Albany.[2]They had seven children: Machtel, Gerrit Isaac, Johannes, Elsje, Susanna, Jacob, and Neeltje.

Jannetje Beekman Lansing died in February 1770 in Albany.[3]
