Biography
Phoebe Beers was born April 1857 in New Brunswick, Canada [1] To Robert Beers and Eleanor Young. Phoebe married John McLeod on 12 Sept 1878[2] She and John had ten children, nine survived childhood and grew to adulthood. Phoebe's date of death is unknown, but she was living in 1921 [3] and is thought to have survived John, who died in 1924. Her gravestone has the year 1923 for her death.[4]
Phoebe Beers McLeod is often confused with her cousin Phoebe Ann Beers. Attention to birth dates, parents and siblings names is a must.
