I have taken the liberty of connecting him to his parents, who appear to be well known.

The baptism record for this child, like his brothers and sisters born in Banbury, uses the surname "Beere". That was also the spelling his father used, in his autograph signature, when he married in 1826. I think one might well feel that his Last Name at Birth was "Beere".
