Biography

J. Clyde Beers, 73, formerly of Indiana, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1967 in Pittsburgh Hospital. Mr. Beers was employed by Indiana Lumber and Supply Company in Indiana prior to World War I. He then served with the 28th Division in World War I, receiving the Distinguished Service Cross and Purple Heart, both awarded on the French battlefield. He was a retired employee of Otterman Lumber Company.
