Joseph was born May 12, 1824 in Simpson County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Beesley and Jane Fischer.
On August 15, 1843 he married Elizabeth Fenix in Sumner County, Tennessee. [1]
He passed away May 5, 1898 in Vanzant, Douglas, Missouri. Joseph was laid to rest in Clifty Hall Cemetery, Douglas County, Missouri, United States. [2]
