Biography
Antoine was born in 1775, the son of Gabriel Belanger and Victoire Bernier, and baptised on 15 May 1775. [1]
His first marriage was to Catherine Kirouac at L'Islet on 8 February 1796. They had six children before Catherine died in 1811.
Antoine then married Isabelle Codere at St-Hyacinthe on 7 January 1813[2] and they had five children. Isabelle died in 1820 and he married Agathe Baron in 1821 at St-Denis-sur-Richelieu. No children are known for this marriage.
