Biography

Louisa was born in 1849 in Mississippi, the fifth of eleven children to be born to Thomas Mosely Belcher and his wife, Rachel Mayberry.

In the 1850 census Louisa (age 2) was in Monroeton, Monroe, Mississippi Territory, United States.^[1]

In the 1860 census Loisa (age 12) was in Lagrne Township, Prairie, Arkansas, United States.^[2]

Louisa (age 20) married Wesley M. Shuford (age 21) on 15 September 1869 in Prairie, Arkansas, United States.^{[3] [4]}

Louisa has NOT been found in the 1870 census.

In the 1880 census Louisa (age 27), Housekeeping, was the wife of W. M. Shuford in Justice Precinct 1, Guadalupe, Texas, United States.^[5]

In the 1900 census Louisa (age 51) was the wife of William Shuford in Justice Precinct 6, Waller, Texas, United States.^[6]

In the 1910 census Louisa (age 60) was the wife of Wesley M Shuford in Justice Precinct 6, Travis, Texas, United States.^[7]
