She died in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Her parents were Louis and Clara Belden of Rockford. Alice lived in Roscoe most of her life. She attended Roscoe Grade School and two years of high school. She graduated from Hononegah High School in 1922. Alice taught in rural schools in Winnebago and Boone counties. She also was a Winnebago County 4-H leader for five years. Married Earl Busker in Roscoe on Aug. 23, 1929. Alice was brought up in Roscoe United Methodist Church since 1910 and was a member of the church since 1917, serving as church school superintendent, teacher, youth leader and a 25-year choir member. She moved to Wesley Willows on May 18, 1997.
Survivors included son, Philip (Delores) of Socoro, N.M. daughter, Sandra (Glen) Crain of Perryton, Texas grandchildren Tab (Yvonne) of Machesney Park, Darri (Dana) of Rockton and Neala (Andrew) Hall of Roscoe great-grandchildren Austin and Jared Busker, Hillary Busker, Henry Busker and daughter-in-law, Karen Beman of Rockton. Predeceased by parents husband, Earl, in 1977 infant daughter, Alice sisters Evelyn Ralston, Clarabelle Kelley, Helen Johnson and Florence Reimer and brother, Robert Belden.
