Isabel Maud was born about 1365, possibly in Belgrave, Leicestershire, England. She was d. & h. of Thomas Belgrave[1]
Matilda (b. abt. 1390). Her last name was Belgrave[2].
She had a son about 1410 "In the 18th of Edward IV. [1478], the Inquisition post mortem of 'Matilda, wife [i.e.widow]] of William Honford, and late wife of Robert Legh, of Adlington,' by whom she had a son, at that time 68 years of age, was taken"[3]
Remarried to William de Honford after 1415. Died 17 March, 1478[4]

Death most likely in Cheshire, as the inquisition post mortem was held there.

Robert de Legh of Adlington succeeded his father in 1408. He married Maud, or Matilda Belgrave (according to Mr. Wood's Cheshire MS) who survived him sixty-four years, and was remarried to William Honford.
