At some stage they lived in Palestine where Olga and Joel were born.

Sonia Belkin with children Olga and Joel arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 11 August 1925 on board SS Cephee from Palestine with her mother Mrs Olga Belkin, sisters Mary and Rachel.

In the 1940/1950s the Belkin family lived at 77 Dickens St, Elwood, Victoria. ^[1] Moses was a hairdresser.

She passed away in 1985 ^[2] and was buried at the Melbourne Chevra Kadisha, Section 03, Row E, Plot 2, 1. ^{[3] [4]}
