DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Abel:
Is this Abel the one who along with Job Wright purchased land along the Hudson River in Stillwater NY in 1774? In 1790 Job sold the land to son-in-law Sylvanus Dunham and son Abraham Wright. But there is no mention of Abel in the grantor deed.
