Abigail "Nabby" Belknap was born on September 27, 1761, in Brimfield, Massachusetts. She married William Janes on January 24, 1782, in Holland, Massachusetts. They had 11 children in 20 years. She died on April 28, 1827, in Holland, Massachusetts, at the age of 65, and was buried in her hometown.
