Many thanks, Jo, England Project Managed Profiles Team coordinator
Thank you. Scott Fulkerson Notables Leader
Because Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches dates of profile, avoid abbreviations, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources
The United States Project would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you
Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic please read the goals & tasks of the project

Thank you Nick for adopting her
Thank you for adopting a number of orphaned profiles. I noticed that many of these were created by a Wikitree member who is no longer active on Wikitree. Many of these need TLC since they have no biographies and do not conform to Wikitree's style and standards. I appreciate your interest and applaud that you have taken on the effort to improve these profiles. The profiles represent a range of date periods, locations and families. If you need help developing these new profiles now under your care and management feel free to reach out to the Wikitree community if you have questions or need assistance.
Thank you for stepping up to taking on the task of caring for these orphaned ancestors. We look forward to your contributions in this effort.

It's good to see you active at WikiTree again. You might be interested in some of the tips and tricks that we have included in the How-Tos that we share with new members these days. They were created long after you became a member so you never received them.
If you have WikiTree questions, I am here to help. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum: Have you found any unusual occupations in your family tree?
Welcome!
Julie
I wanted to suggest that you edit your tag(s) to show any surnames you are researching. When you list a surname, location or historical event in your tags, you can then click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those names, locations, etc.
You'll also get notifications in your daily & weekly emails when there is activity relevant to your tags.
Information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags
This Link will auto-populate your tag page. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following
Can you give a little more information about your genealogical interests? Once we know you are here to help grow our one shared tree, a greeter will be happy to confirm you!
Please let me know if you have any questions! :-)
David
