Biography

George was born January 19th, 1886 in Hecla, South Dakota to William Bell & Mary Smith.^[1][2][3] He married Abbie Gehlen September 14th, 1909 in Marion County, Oregon.^[4][5][2] From the marriage came three children.^{[6][7][8][3][9]} George died December 16th, 1972 in Marion County, Oregon.^[10][11] He is buried at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.^[12]
