Herman James Bell was born on September 6th, 1884 in Thomas Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. He was the fifth son of Canadian farmer Thomas William Bell and his German wife Marie Mathilde Albertine Alexandrine Röthke.[1]
Herman moved to the city of Los Angeles, California about 1938. There, he resided at 5162 Oakland Street and worked at a factory.[1]
Herman James Bell, 69-year-old bachelor, passed away of medullary paralysis due to massive hemorrhage caused by his atheroschlerosis at 5:25 PM on December 27th, 1953 at 325 West Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, California.[1][2] His body was transported to Saginaw, Michigan and interred at Oakwood Mausoleum on the 31st.[3]
