Ella (Bell) Wade was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Ella Louise BELL, daughter of Francis BELL and Jane Eliza LIVINGSTONE, was born 5 May 1870 Maitland, Colony of New South Wales.
Ella married Charles Gregory Wade on 9 Apr 1890. [1]
Lady Wade spent the war years in England with her daughters.[2]
She died 28 Sep 1949 and was buried at South Head Cemetery.

Her death was mentioned in a publication called Truth:
"MANY people will be sadden-
ed by the death of Lady
Wade, who was the widow of
the late Sir Charles Wade, a
former Premier of N.S.W, and
later Agent-General for N.S.W.
in London. Lady Wade was a
charming and gracious person-
ality who endeared herself to
those fortunate enough to
