Rev Richard Carey was born in 1743 and died on 6 Nov 1821 (aged 77–78). He is buried at Kiltegan Graveyard, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.
Inscription: This tomb under which are laid the remains of the Revd. Richard Carey, was erected by his dear wife Jane Carey, as a lasting memory of their affection and lasting memory of their virtues. His children lament the irreparable loss of his irreparable kindness and affection to his friends, his sincere and warm friendship. He died on the 6th day of November 1821, in the 78th year of his age. Anna Constable, daughter of the above Richard Carey, died 6th June 1879, aged 88 years. Also her son, William Constable, of Lawlesstown, Co. Tipp., who died 9th November 1888, aged 74 years. Louisa E. Constable, daughter of the above, died April 12th 1892.
