Delbert Wesley Bell[1], son of Arlie and Grace Bell, was born March 29, 1928, at Beatrice, Neb., and passed away at a Denver Hospital March 31, 1953, following a brief illness. He was 23 years of age.
After his graduation from the Beatrice High School he attended Emporia State Teachers College at Emporia, Kan and Denton College at Denton, Tex. While attending high school and college he was active in athletics.
On August 23, 1949, he was united in marriage to Patricia Starks. To this union two children were born, Deborah Elizabeth and James Richard. In early life he united with the Nazarene Church. After finishing school he lived for a number of years in Texas going to Denver abour a year ago. At the time of his death he was employed by the Phillips Petroleum Co.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, his two children, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Bell of Beatrice, Neb., his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Bell also of Beatrice, a number of other relatives and many friends.
