Biography
Tamar (Bell) Leak was born in Yorkshire, England.
Tamar was baptised in 1782 in Wilberfoss, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry Bell and Ann Quarton.[1]
In 1808 Tamar married Thomas Leak in Howden, Yorkshire. He was a husbandman.[2] By 1841 the family lived in Balkholme in the parish of Howden, where Thomas worked as an agricultural labourer.[3][4][5]
Tamar died in 1864[6] at the age of 82 and was buried in Howden.[7]
