Biography

Jane Bell was born in Philadelphia in 1806 ^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]} and married Jonathan Stayner in 1827. She lived a long life and lived about 22 years after her husband's death. In 1870 she was found living with her son John in Iowa ^[6] and in 1885, she was living in Nebraska with another son, Cyrus. ^[4]

Death

16 September 1890 in Nebraska. No death record has been found, however, she was living with her son in Nebraska in 1885, at the age of 79, just five years before her death. ^[4]
