On her 1880 War of 1812 widow's pension application, Mrs. Drennan was living in Wilson County, where she died in the Partlow community. [citation needed]
Mary died on 22 Sep 1885 in Tennessee aged 82.[2] : The Drennan family cemetery was destroyed during construction of the Nashville Speedway, straddling the Wilson/Rutherford County line. While burials apparently remained in place, the two remaining tombstones were moved to a nearby Major family cemetery on East Richmond Shop Road, Wilson County, and a new monument was erected listing family members known to have been buried on the Drennan farm.
