Albert was born in Aston, Warwickshire, England, in 1899. He was the son of Samuel Bellamy and Sophia (Unknown).

Albert married Florence Ada Plumb on August 2, 1920, in Bordesley, Warwickshire, at St Andrew. The couple had at least four children. Albert and Florence appeared in the 1939 Register residing at 26 Mona Road, Birmingham. His occupation "Laborer Metal Works". Following children at home: William H. 16 Aug 1921, Frank 6 Oct 1924, Dennis 23 Sep 1933, Florence 13 Jun 1938.

Albert passed away in Birmingham in 1967.
