Biography
Angèle Bellemare was born 27 May 1835 and baptized the following day in the parish of Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche, Yamachiche, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Louis Bellemare and Angèle Lacerte and her godparents were Etienne Bellemare and Luce Lacerte. [1]
Elie Heroux, son majeur of Etienne Heroux and Sophie Houde, and Angèle Bellemare, daughter majeure of Louis Bellemare and Angèle Lacerte, were married 25 Jul 1859 in the parish of Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche, Yamachiche, Canada-Est. [2]
Angèle Bellemare, wife of Elie Héroux and of the age of sixty-seven years, died 7 Feb 1903 and was buried 9 Feb 1903 in the cemetery of Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche, Yamachiche, Québec, Canada. Present at the burial were Philies Heroux, Onesime Bellemare, Hormisdas Heroux, Horace Proulx and Louis Gignac. [3]
