Mrs. Abbaduska, Odell, Dies; Funeral Sunday
Odell, Ill.---Mrs. Harriet Abbaduska, 83, Odell, died at 1:20 a.m. today at the Odell Shelter, Inc., after an illness of several years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Watson funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Callahan, of the Odell Congregational church officiating. Burial will be in Esmen cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abbaduska was born Sept. 5, 1878, in Odell, the daughter of Nelson A. and Sarah (Sheldon) Bemis, and was educated in Odell public schools. She was married to William D. Abbaduska in Odell Dec. 18, 1895. She resided in Odell all her life.
She was a member of the Odell Congregational church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. L. (Genevieve) Langan of Odell; Mrs. Bernice McHugh, Evenston, and Mrs. Ruth Yale of Northfield; a son John M., of Downers Grove, 16 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
Her husband and a son, Gaylord, preceded her in death.
