James Bemis Birth: ABT 1630

Death 1665 New London, CT

James Bemis, constable of New London who died in 1665, was the first husband of Sara Diamond. About 1673, Sarah married Edward Griswold.[1][2]

(Edward Griswold) He married (second) 1672-73, Sarah Bemis, widow of James Bemis, of New London.
