Biography

Lawrence Bench was born on 10 January 1845 in Camden, Ray, Missouri, a son of Lawrence Bench (1806–1882) and Nancy Stuckey (1810–1882).

Lawrence married Mary Ann Cantrell (born in March 1846). They had two daughters:

• Lydia Ann Bench, 1867–1922
• Ellen Bench, 1870–1961

Lawrence died on 2 February 1916 in Howell County, Missouri, aged 71. He was buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery.^[1]
