Stanley was born in 1915. He was the son of Charles Bendall and Beatrice Ludlow. He passed away about 1986.

Acting Captain Stan. Bendall, who motored from Melbourne to visit his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bendall, also his aunt and uncle,, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Bendall has returned to the city. Captain Bendall was awarded the M.B.E. by the Queen while he was in Melbourne. He was accompanied by his uncle from Sydney, Mr. J. Bendall, who also enjoyed the week with his relatives and friends. [3]
